Advent is a season of waiting, watching & hoping. We wait like a mother who is nine months pregnant, we watch like anxious shepherds in a field & we hope for the coming of the Messiah, Jesus Christ. We enter into this season of sacred expectation not passively, twiddling our thumbs, but actively by participating, now, today, in the kind of life Jesus brought & brings. We celebrate the one who is come & will come again by spending less on the things the world values, so we can give more to the things that are truly meaningful, the things God values.
Below are some of the ways you & your family can join us, Aspen Grove Christian Church, in anxiously anticipating the return of Jesus by spending less to give more. Let this verse be your guide, “You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” 2 Corinthians 9:7
“The Manger” is GraceWorks’ annual Christmas shop that allows qualifying residents of Williamson County to shop for Christmas gifts for their family members. How you can help:
1 - Donate new unwrapped items for “The Manger” Donate new items $30 or less. AGCC has specifically been asked to collect items for teenagers (lists available at AGCC). Donations will be collected at AGCC through Dec. 13th. GIFT IDEALS HERE

Shop for groceries & deliver them to a family in need. Sponsor a small family for $100 or a large family for $150. Deliveries to families need to be made prior to Dec. 16th. ECUADOR
In the summer of 2017 AGCC took a team to serve the Hacienda of Hope Children’s home & school in Tabacundo, Ecuador. We are excited to continue our support of this amazing ministry by collecting donations. Specifically, your donations will go to fund an extension ministry of the HOH aimed at providing much needed support to teenage mothers.
